PIERRE WILSON
Position: DE
Class: Sr
School: Kent St.
Conference: MAC
Ht., Wt.: 6'2, 270
40 Time: 5.12
Grade: 3.05

BIO: Former Michigan State transfer. Played in six games last season, recording eight tackles and 1/2 tackles for loss, after 43 tackles and three for loss the prior year.

POSITIVES: Athletic lineman with poor size-speed numbers for the next level. Plays low with leverage, slides off blocks and stays on his feet. Wedges his way between opponents, quick changing direction and makes plays up and down the line of scrimmage. Displays a closing burst of speed and plays with a tough, nasty attitude.

NEGATIVES: Not explosive off the snap and lacks the great first step. Undersized and wears down over the course of a game.

ANALYSIS: Lacks the bulk for the interior and height to play end but could be a situational pass rusher as his athletic skills and the ability to make plays in any direction of the field are attractive.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
