BEN MAHDAVI
Position: OLB
Class: Sr
School: Washington
Conference: Pac-10
Ht., Wt.: 6'0½, 240
40 Time: 4.81
Grade: 3.21

BIO: Three-year starter and the team's long snapper in the past. Tied for the team lead in tackles with 100 last year, also accounting for 11 1/2 tackles for loss, two sacks, with one interception and three pass defenses. Led the team in tackles as a junior when his numbers were 85-10-5. Recently turned in a 4.55 forty during individual workout.

POSITIVES: Hard working defender that must make it on special teams at the next level. Heady linebacker quick reading or anticipating the action, plays with a large degree of intelligence and works to make something positive happen. Weaves through the traffic, aggressive and squares into ball carriers. Constantly around the ball and does a nice job keeping the action in front of him.

NEGATIVES: Has difficulty in pass coverage, slowed by blocks and not strong at the point tackling.

ANALYSIS: Lack of size-speed will hamper him at any linebacker position. Best chance to make it would be as a long snapper.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
