BIO: USC's leading ground gainer since his sophomore campaign. Took 179 handoffs for 814 yards, with eight scores last season, also catching 12 passes for 69 yards. Junior totals were 115-410-5 on the ground and 6-100-1 in only six games, as an abdominal strain sidelined him. Posted career numbers of 227-1,163-6 carrying the ball as a sophomore when he moved into the starting lineup. Older brother, Saladin, played for Oregon.

POSITIVES: Collegiate sprint champion who translates his track and field speed onto the football field. Quick through the hole and displays a burst as well as a second gear which enables him to run to daylight in the open field. Slides off defenders, keeps his feet moving and displays a slashing style carrying the ball. Has adequate cutting skills in a small area and freezes defenders, making them miss at the point of attack.

NEGATIVES: Though he's improved his running vision and ball-carrying skills still very indecisive, hesitant and slow to find the running lanes. Does not run with great balance nor an elusive back that creates when nothing is available. Lacks the soft hands and fights the ball as a pass catcher.

ANALYSIS: Does not have the size or skill to be a feature runner at the next level. Lacks the hands one wants in a third down back. Speed alone will get him drafted late in the proceedings but needs a big camp next summer to stick on a roster.
