Round 7, pick 4 (218 overall)
BIO: Sixth year senior used as both a tailback and lead fullback. Played sparingly last year carrying the ball 47 times for 174 yards with two scores but caught 39 passes for 365 yards, with six more scores. Sat out the 2001 season for personal reasons after carrying the ball 41-284-0 and catching 27-249-0 as a junior in 2000. Sophomore totals were 25-121-3 on the ground, with 5-40-0 as a receiver. Missed the '98 season with a torn knee ligament.

POSITIVES: Big, powerful ball handler with solid athletic skills. Quickly releases off the snap, displays a short burst of speed and runs well on the inside. Effective catching the ball and looks the pass into his hands, displaying the ability to pull the ball out of the air. Give effort blocking.

NEGATIVES: Development has been slowed by constant injury and spent a lot of time on the sidelines. A running back by nature but has been more effective as a pass catcher out of the backfield recently.

ANALYSIS: Effectively handled the lead fullback duties at the Senior Bowl and showed signs he could be a player at the next level but durability is a major concern.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
