BIO: Part-time starter who caught 40 passes for 718 yards with eight scores last season after 42-440-0 as a junior in 2000. Started the first two games of the 2001 season before a ruptured spleen ended his year. POSITIVES: Athletic receiver who's development has been hampered by illness in college. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, moves well laterally and looks the ball into his hands. Good eye-hand coordination, comes over the middle and lays out to make the reception in a crowd. NEGATIVES: Does not play to his forty-time, not explosive and lets the ball unnecessarily get inside of him. ANALYSIS: Never fulfilled the expectations placed upon him and will need time and patience, but the underlying athletic skills possessed by Johnson makes him worth consideration. Displayed flashes at the Scouting Combine and showed rare innate abilities, but that is keeping in par with his college career. PROJECTION: Early Fifth Round
