BIO: Four-year starter and Big 10 Freshman of the Year in 1999. Second on the team in tackles last season with 82, also posting four tackles for loss, one sack, intercepting one pass and breaking up six more. 71 tackles with an interception as a junior after career numbers of 110 tackles and three INTs the prior season.

POSITIVES: Instinctive, hard working linebacker who makes a lot of plays with his head. Quick reading the action, takes good angles to the play and snuffs out the ball carrier. Smart, stays with assignments and efficient. Adequate cover skills in a small area and squares into tackles, wrapping up.

NEGATIVES: Not quick, explosive or fast and lacks speed to the flanks. Slow shedding blocks once engaged at the point.

ANALYSIS: An easy prospect to root for but terrible size-speed numbers limits his abilities at the next level.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
