Round 6, pick 1 (174 overall)
BIO: Second-team All-Conference selection as a senior after posting 60 tackles with 9 1/2 tackles for loss, three sacks and intercepting one pass. Junior numbers were 56-3-1 when he also blocked two kicks. Originally moved to the defensive side of the ball after starting seven games at offensive guard as a true freshman.

POSITIVES: Leverage lineman who plays with a great amount of explosion. Keeps his pad level low, quick shooting the gaps up field and redirects to the action. Displays a short area burst of speed, can twist or stunt and makes plays laterally.

NEGATIVES: Lacks bulk, size and handled by fullbacks at the point. Wears down as the game proceeds.

ANALYSIS: Best suited for nose tackle in a three-four alignment but a backup at that.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
