All- Conference selection as both a senior and junior when his numbers were 121-14-3-3-6 and 112-14-1-1-4, respectively. Posted 89 tackles as a sophomore. POSITIVES: Aggressive middle linebacker best defending the run. Quick reading or anticipating the action, plays assignment football and effectively QBs the defense. Explosive filling gaps up the field, physical and likes to mix it up. NEGATIVES: Lacks the quick or fluid change of direction, lateral speed and does not get depth on his pass drops. More of a short, squat build and gets caught up in the traffic moving to the flanks. ANALYSIS: May have a home as an inexpensive backup and special teams player but will only succeed if area responsibilities are held to a minimum. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
