BIO: Sacramento City College transfer and second team All Big 12 choice his only Two-years in the program. Registered 92 tackles, 24 tackles for loss and six sacks as a senior after 68-10-2 the prior season. POSITIVES: Athletic and explosive lineman with growth limitations. Explodes off the snap with a great first step, looking as though he was shot out of a cannon. Plays low with leverage, breaks down and rarely off his feet. Effectively uses hand technique to keep blockers away, fluid moving laterally and pursues the action from the backside with speed. Chases to get involved and constantly around the ball making positive plays. Adequate skills dropping off the line and playing in space. NEGATIVES: Lacks height, bulk and handled at the point or stood up by a single blocker. ANALYSIS: Must beat opponents with his first move or he does not beat them at all. Too short for end and lacks the bulk to be an every down player at tackle. Has the skills and make-up to be an inside player in the three technique and could flourish in a system that rotates its lineman up front. PROJECTION: Early Seventh Round
