Selected by St. Louis Rams
Round 2, pick 11 (43 overall)
BIO: Junior-eligible and three-year starter at Hawaii. First-team All-Conference selection in 2000 after leading Hawaii in tackles with 129, tackles for loss with 18 and a team high 61/2 sacks. Also recorded two INTs. Second-team all-WAC selection the prior season after posting 86 tackles. Started five games at middle linebacker in 2000 registering 74-10-4. Unimpressive during the Senior Bowl but came back and worked out well during the Scouting Combine.

POSITIVES: Explosive, hard working linebacker best making plays up the field. Agile, redirects nicely to the action and flows to the ball. Hard hitting, flashes on the scene and throws his body around the action. Fluid scraping laterally, stays on his feet and makes plays in every direction. Gets depth on his pass drops and covers a good amount of area.

NEGATIVES: Undersized and gets tied up with blockers preferring to run around them rather than take opponents head on. Not efficient and takes too many extra steps. Limited skills and productivity defending the pass. True playing weight may be 10 pounds lighter than what is listed.

ANALYSIS: Potentially a very good weak side starting linebacker if he picks up both the physical and mental aspects of pass coverage.

PROJECTION: Mid Third Round
