Round 5, pick 23 (158 overall)
BIO: Middle Georgia Junior College transfer who's led TCU in receiving each of the past two seasons. Registered 32 receptions for 524 yards and two scores as a senior after 50-819-5 the prior year when he was the team's MVP.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized receiver with solid natural abilities. Fluid releasing off the line, sells his routes and displays quickness out of his breaks. Comes back to the ball, extends for the pass and displays both focus and concentration. Gets separation from opponents, works to make himself an available target and comes away with the difficult reception in a crowd. Lays out for the errant pass and looks the ball into his hands.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the strong hands and does too much body catching. Not on the same page as his QB. Does not display a second gear or ability to take it deep.

ANALYSIS: Someone we had high hopes for coming into the 2002 season and expected a break through campaign, which never came to fruition. Must turn flashes of skill into consistency and become a part of the offense. Natural size-speed will get him drafted late.

PROJECTION: Late Fifth Round
