BIO: Junior entry and a Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a sophomore. Posted 46 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and six sacks last season after 68-18-5 the prior campaign.
POSITIVES: Athletic and explosive lineman that needed at least one more season in college to develop his skills. Bends his knees, plays with leverage and keeps his pad level low. Fluid altering his angle of attack, makes plays laterally and redirects nicely to the ball carrier. Works his way up the field wedging between opponents, displays good hand technique getting off blocks and rarely off his feet. Top natural skills.
NEGATIVES: Lacks the great first step off the snap, overall explosion and not instinctive. Easily ridden from his pass rush angle or turned out by opponents. Slow locating the ball or finding the action.
ANALYSIS: Offers a lot of upside potential but made a mistake entering the draft and rather than being an early choice in 2004, a mid-to-late round selection this April that could be behind the 8-ball from the start.
PROJECTION: Mid Fifth Round
