Round 7, pick 9 (223 overall)
BIO: Productive pass catching tight end who led the Sooners with 46 receptions as a senior, also totaling 396 receiving yards and five TDs. Second-team All-Conference choice as a junior when he led the nation's tight ends in receptions, registering 61-564-6 after 29-310-3 as a sophomore, which earned him Honorable Mention All Big 12.

POSITIVES: Consistent pass catching tight end who improved his blocking skills. Intelligent, reads the defense and settles into the open spot on the field. Extends and catches the ball away from his frame, looking the pass in or adjusting to the errant throw. Shields away opponents and consistently makes the tough one handed grab in traffic. Solid route running skills and catches the pass in stride. Blocks with leverage, stays square and works to finish the play.

NEGATIVES: Gives effort blocking but gives minimal results. Not fast and rarely makes plays into the defensive secondary.

ANALYSIS: Could fit in nicely as a team's second tight end and his blocking will improve as he matures physically.

PROJECTION: Late Seventh Round
