BIO: Junior college transfer and a first team All-Conference selection the past two seasons, also being named Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year in 2001. Carried the ball 244 times for 1,168 yards with eight TDs last season after 264-1,119-7 in 2001. POSITIVES: Instinctive ball carrier very productive the past Two-years. Displays vision, sets up blocks then finds the open spot. Quick footed, bounces it to the outside or cuts back against the grain, avoiding piles. Runs with forward lean, keeps his feet chugging up the field and works his runs. NEGATIVES: Not overly elusive, lacks a burst of speed and not fast enough to cut the corner. Minimal pass catching skills. ANALYSIS: Inability to produce as a receiver out of the backfield may hold him back but a potential third down runner at the next level if he improves his hands.
