Round 6, pick 18 (191 overall)
BIO: Full-time starter since his sophomore season after spending three games with the first team as a red-shirt freshman. Totaled 69 tackles with six tackles for loss and one sack last year after 78-7-2 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Hard working defender who sacrifices his body in order to make the play. Quick reading or anticipating the action, takes good angles to the ball carrier and flies around the field. Disciplined, cognizant and very aware of his assignments. Squares and wraps up tackling.

NEGATIVES: Rarely plays to his timed speed, lacks sideline-to-sideline range and ineffective pursuing the action. Best in a straight line and slow shedding blocks once engaged at the point.

ANALYSIS: Lack of size hurts his ability to play on the inside, while minimal range limits his possibilities at outside linebacker. Has a special teams mentality which is his only way to make it at the next level.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
