BIO: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference and All-America honors last season. Led the conference in tackles last season with 136, also posting 20 tackles for loss and four sacks. Junior totals were 113-12-7 after 92-5-5.5 as a sophomore. POSITIVES: Tough, durable run stuffing middle linebacker who works until the whistle blows. Breaks down well, plays with leverage and immediately snuffs out the ball carrier. Quickly moves up the field in pursuit of the action and rarely off his feet. Stays with assignments and a heady defender. NEGATIVES: Struggles making plays in reverse, does not get depth on pass drops or display lateral range. ANALYSIS: If placed in a system where his area responsibilities are kept to a minimum has an outside chance to make the two deep. Approach and tenacity lends one to believe he'll be a fine special teams player. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
