BIO: Started 13 games as a senior leading the team in receiving with 58 catches for 786 yards and five scores. Started three games in 2001 after missing significant time with a broken fibula and finished with 5-40-0. Starting QB during the first two games of the 2000 season before being sidelined with a broken wrist.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized pass catcher who's quickly grown into the receiver position. Plays with balance, effectively positions himself against opponents to make the reception and extends his hands, catching the ball away from his frame. Comes back to the QB, finds the soft spot in the defense and shields away opponents. Works to get open and lays out to makes the difficult grab. Displays timing and catches the pass at its high point. Keeps the play in bounds running after the catch giving effort to pick up positive yardage.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the downfield speed or the ability to get deep separation. Choppy out of his breaks and routes lack sharpness. Does a bit of body catching.

ANALYSIS: Displayed a lot of skills during his first full season at receiver and if progress continues, a solid number two receiver at the next level.

PROJECTION: Late Fourth Round
