BIO: First-team Big East selection after starting every game at left guard as a senior. Started the first seven games of his junior campaign before injuring a knee in practice, but still named second team All-League choice. Top backup his initial two seasons with the program.
POSITIVES: Intelligent, hard working lineman who plays with top fundamentals. Blocks with forward lean, stays square and displays adequate adjustment. Quick with his hands, jolts opponents with arm punch and looks to hit defenders or help out teammates. Stays square and controls opponents once engaged at the point of attack. Nasty, yet at the same time plays under control.
NEGATIVES: Not quick off the snap or effective in space and lacks the top footwork. Has a history of knee problems which includes a torn ACL in 1998.
ANALYSIS: Does not stand out or look spectacular in any single aspect but does the little things well enough to be a serviceable player at the next level.
PROJECTION: Late Seventh Round
