BIO: Junior-eligible who started every game the past three seasons at center. Named to several All-America squads as both a sophomore and junior.
POSITIVES: Smart, efficient center who plays with a large degree of intelligence. Explodes off the snap, quickly gets into blocking position and fundamentally sound. Bends his knees, gets leverage on opponents and uses body positioning to turn them from the action. Keeps his feet active, looks to hit opponents and helps out teammates. Immediately gets his hands up and jolts defenders at the point. Excels at the finer points of the position.
NEGATIVES: Lacks blocking range and the greater area he is asked to cover, the less balance he plays with. Not overly effective in space and overtends. Though strong, lacks the dominant base.
ANALYSIS: Not the greatest athlete nor is he dominant in the center of the line but does enough things well to be a productive pro at the next level.
PROJECTION: Mid Second Round
