Finished his senior campaign with 73 tackles, five tackles for loss and eight pass defenses, also averaging 24.3 yards on 22 kick returns. Registered 46 tackles with one interception as a junior, averaging 34.8 yards on 15 kick returns, bringing one back 97 yards for a touchdown. POSITIVES: Run defending safety best in the box. Physical, throws his body around the field and displays a good head for the ball. Quick to recognize assignments, takes good angles to the action and effective special teams player. NEGATIVES: Lacks the great ball skills, sideline-to-sideline range and possesses only short range speed. Struggles in man-to-man coverage and not effective guarding against the deep throw.
