BIO: Junior entry who impacted the Tulane program as both a cornerback and return specialist. First-team All-Conference selection last season and also garnered All- American mention after registering 68 tackle, eight INTs and 21 pass defenses. Averaged 25.2 yards on 18 kick returns, bringing one back into the end zone for a score, as well as 16.5 yards on 28 punt returns with an additional touchdown. Named MVP of the ConAgra Foods Hawaii Bowl last December. Started 12 games as a true sophomore posting 59-3-14 on defense while averaging 22 yards on 17 kick returns. Second-team All-Conference choice and named to the C-USA All Freshman Team in 2000 after 44-3-14 on defense. Led Tulane in both INTs and pass breakups the past three seasons. Recently clocked a poor 4.65 during individual workouts

POSITIVES: Small but explosive cover corner who alters the tempo of a game with special teams abilities. Fast, runs downfield with opponents and displays great break on the ball. Defends wide outs laterally, fluid in his hips and effective in zone coverage. Stays with receivers out of their breaks, fights to get a hand in and always working to make positive plays. Quick footed and sudden, skills used returning both punts and kicks.

NEGATIVES: Small, cannot play in press coverage and has difficulty with bigger opponents. Hesitant turning back to the ball.

ANALYSIS: Not good enough to be an every down starting cornerback job but will fit in nicely as a nickel-zone cover corner and one expected to perform as a top return specialist.

PROJECTION: Mid Seventh Round
