BIO: Saw action with the first team for nine games as a true freshman and has started ever since. Second-team All-Conference choice as a senior and three time academic All Big 10 performer. POSITIVES: Explosive center effective at the line of scrimmage or out on the second level. Blocks with forward lean, leverage and quick in all aspects of the game. Immediately gets his hands into opponents, uses good body positioning and jolts defenders off the snap of the ball. Plays very low to the ground and quick if asked to kick out or pull, displaying skills to block on the move. QBs the offensive line and always looking to hit defenders. Effective with the shot gun snap. NEGATIVES: Lacks overall body strength, size and overpowered by opponents or turned off the line of scrimmage. Needs help on the inside and has difficulty handling one-on-one blocking assignments. ANALYSIS: Offers all the intangibles you want on the pivot except size and size potential which may hold him back. PROJECTION: Early Seventh Round
