TRACY WHITE
Position: OLB
Class: Sr
School: Howard
Conference: MEAC
Ht., Wt.: 5'11, 220
40 Time: 4.55
Grade: 3.14

BIO: Two time MEAC Defensive Player of the Year and a three time All-Conference selection who moved into the starting lineup during his freshman season. Posted 76 1/2 tackles with nine for loss last season after 99 tackles and eight sacks the prior year. Totaled 102 tackles as a sophomore and led Howard in tackles each of the last Four-years.

POSITIVES: Undersized yet explosive defender who likes to mix it up. Reads or anticipates the action, disciplined and effectively QBs the defense. Stays with assignments, works to make something positive happen and displays a closing burst of speed. Fluid moving laterally, weaves through the traffic and gets to the ball carrier. Gets depth on his pass drops showing a good backpedal and takes proper angles to the action.

NEGATIVES: Undersized and easily knocked from his angle of attack or slow shedding blocks once engaged with opponents. Wraps up tackling but has difficulty bringing the ball carrier down on initial contact.

ANALYSIS: Played inside linebacker in a three-four scheme at Howard, which may be his best position at the next level unless moved to strong safety. Has a special teams mentality which could help him find a spot on a final roster.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
