BIO: Earned four varsity letters playing basketball at the Citadel before putting on football pads last season. Earned second team All-Conference honors after posting 56 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. Started 102 consecutive basketball games for the university. Prior to 2002 had not played football since middle school. POSITIVES: Athletic prospect with a great amount of upside potential. Plays with forward lean, stays low to the ground and fluid changing direction. Rushes the edge with speed but also strong and gets push up the field. Flat10s and pursues laterally chasing the passer or defending the run. NEGATIVES: Not quick or explosive off the snap, unorthodox, lacks body control and easily knocked off balance. ANALYSIS: A project in the works and very raw. Showed flashes of brilliance and even dominant in what was his first season on the football field in eight years. Should develop into a complete end though he'll need time. PROJECTION: Mid Fifth Round
