BIO: Two time All-Conference award winner who moved into the starting lineup as a red-shirt sophomore. Compiled 71 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks as a senior, also breaking up one pass. Junior totals were 56-8-3 with eight pass defenses after 55-4-1 the prior year when he came away with his only interception.
POSITIVES: Heady linebacker best in the box. Plays assignment football, looks to get involved in the action and displays adequate sideline-to-sideline range. Quick reading or anticipating the action, above average speed and flows to the ball carrier.
NEGATIVES: Game lacks quickness or explosion, hesitant to react on occasion and not effective in coverage.
ANALYSIS: Better making plays up the field then in reverse but has weak side linebacker size and must greatly improve his pass cover skills to have a shot at the next level.
PROJECTION: Mid Seventh Round
