Selected by San Diego Chargers
Round 2, pick 14 (46 overall)
BIO: All-Conference selection who totaled 41 tackles, five INTs and 13 pass defenses as a senior. Registered 29-4-8 as a junior after 46-4-7 in 2000 when he played for Tennessee-Chattanooga.

POSITIVES: Good sized cornerback and a top athlete with a large upside for the next level. Technically sound, strong at the point and out muscles or physically defeats opponents to break up the pass. Displays a good move on the ball, foot speed and the ability to quickly close on the pass.

NEGATIVES: Tends to break down mechanically in tough spots and relies on speed rather than fundamentals to get the job done. Dominated a lower level of competition but very inconsistent throughout Senior Bowl Week.

ANALYSIS: Offers the raw ability to potentially be a starter down the line in the NFL but needs a lot of work and repetition to achieve that level.

PROJECTION: Early Fourth Round
