MARIO JACKSON
Position: TE
Class: Sr
School: UCF
Conference: MAC
Ht., Wt.: 6'2, 243
40 Time: 4.83
Grade: 3.17

BIO: Former starter who needed to battle for playing time the past two seasons with the quality Central Florida offered at tight end. Caught seven passes for 77 yards and one score in 10 games last year, after 4-77-0 the prior campaign and 8-101-0 as a sophomore when he started 11 games.

POSITIVES: Athletic prospect and good developmental player for the future. Technically sound blocker who bends his knees, breaks down well and can shuffle and slide in pass protection. Quick off the snap, jolts opponents at the point and stays with the play. Adjusts well to the errant throw as a receiver and displays solid hands.

NEGATIVES: Not overly involved in the passing offense. Haphazard in his movement and does not play under control or with top balance. Undersized and not strong at the point.

ANALYSIS: Needs repetition, patience and a lot of time but an athlete who could develop into a third tight end after a year or two on the practice squad.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
