Round 7, pick 47 (261 overall)
BIO: Four-year starter at right guard who only missed one game during his Pittsburgh career. First-team All-Conference selection as a senior.

POSITIVES: Hard working, durable lineman who plays with a good degree of intelligence. Quick off the snap, blocks with nice body lean and stays square, turning opponents off the line. Jolts defenders or walls them from the play and uses good body positioning.

NEGATIVES: Bends at the waist, loses balance and not effective on the move. Lacks adjustment and not light on his feet. Marginal athlete but a tough, consistent lineman overlooked going into the draft.

ANALYSIS: Definite possibility as a backup at the next level.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
