CEDRIC HENRY
Position: CB
Class: Sr
School: Michigan St.
Conference: Big Ten
Ht., Wt.: 5'9½, 185
40 Time: 4.51
Grade: 3.33

BIO: Played in 10 games as a senior totaling 29 tackles, two INTs and one pass defense. Academically ineligible in 2001 after starting 11 games in 2000 registering 45 tackles, five INTs and leading the conference with 24 pass break-ups.

POSITIVES: Solid cover corner whose career has been hampered by both injury and academic problems. Fluid defensive back smooth transitioning off the line displaying good footwork as well as wherewithal when the ball is in the air. Aggressive throughout the route, will mix it up against opponents and always working to deflect away the throw. Disciplined, stays with his assignments and works well with the safety. Gets off blocks and makes his way up field to defend screens or support the run.

NEGATIVES: Lacks focus, concentration and bites on receivers moves. Also gets beaten by larger opponents.

ANALYSIS: Looked like a solid prospect after the 2000 season, but has since taken a step back. Injured through most of his senior campaign and did not come away with the season needed to push him into the middle frames.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
