BIO: Two-year starter who also saw action with the first team as a true sophomore. All-Conference selection as a senior, leading the team in receptions with 48, accounting for 917 yards and four TDs. Also averaged 12.9 yards on 41 punt returns, with score. Had a break-out year as a junior totaling 51-866-3 after catching just four passes the prior season. Spent time playing in Penn State's defensive backfield previously.
POSITIVES: Nice-sized receiver with the speed necessary to impact the game downfield. Solid route runner who gets separation from opponents, extends and plucks the high ball out of the air. Comes back to the pass, makes the difficult catch in a crowd and out muscles opponents for the ball. Cognizant and works to make himself an available target. Catches the ball in stride and effective running after the reception.
NEGATIVES: Prone to the lapse in concentration, takes his eyes off the ball and drops the easy one on occasion. Though he gets separation from his routes, not quick in or out of his breaks.
ANALYSIS: Really put it together as a senior and took off which will result in a big move up charts. More consistent, reliable and was a dominant pass catching force. Displayed steady improvement the past two seasons and could eventually develop into a solid number one wide out at the next level.
