Round 4, pick 4 (101 overall)
BIO: Pressed into starting duty after the injury to LaBrandon Toefield last season and went on to lead LSU, carrying the ball 193 times for 931 yards with seven scores, also catching 16 passes for 130 yards, then averaging 23.3 yards on 24 kick returns and 13.9 yards on 36 punt returns, bringing one back for a touchdown. Second-team All-Conference choice as both a running back and return specialist. Junior totals were 75-406-5 on the ground and 19-3.8-1 returning punts. Started at tailback against Illinois in the Sugar Bowl that season and posted 122 rushing yards with a record four rushing TDs. Played one game with the first unit as a sophomore totaling 123-445-5 on the ground and ranking third in the SEC with a 23.8 average on kick returns.

POSITIVES: Versatile, multi-purpose offensive skill player who's always produced on the college level. Quick footed runner that displays vision, gets through the small openings in the defense or bounces it to the outside and avoids piles. Runs low to the ground and gets lost behind blockers. Sets up and makes defenders miss at the line of scrimmage or in the secondary. Patient, waits for blocks to develop and side steps into the small creases on the field. Offers a burst of speed, stout and works to finish his runs, breaking arm tackles. Solid receiver out of the backfield. Explosive return specialist who instantaneously alters the momentum of a game.

NEGATIVES: Not an every-down interior runner. Timed poorly at the Combine though he does play faster than his stop watch speed.

ANALYSIS: Should be an excellent third down back or situational runner at the next level who will immediately impact on special teams. Abilities to handle several duties effectively should help him sneak into the first day.

PROJECTION: Mid Third Round
