BIO: Three-year starter who also saw ex10sive action as a red-shirt freshman. Finished the season with 67 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and two INTs after 59-11-3.5 as a junior and 46-8-1 the prior season.
POSITIVES: Quick, relentless, interior plugger who may be best on the nose. Explodes off the snap with a great first step and gets underneath blockers. Effectively fights with his hands to keep opponents off him, drives his feet up the field and always looking to get involved in the action. Redirects displaying a quick change of direction and the skills to chase laterally. Squares and wraps up tackling the ball carrier.
NEGATIVES: Not a knee bender and gets tall for a short lineman. Engulfed or overpowered by opponents. Has only a short area burst of speed which he cannot sustain.
ANALYSIS: Perfect lineman in a rotational system or on the nose and a prospect who will be productive on special teams at the next level.
PROJECTION: Early Fourth Round
