Grading System
SAM COLLINS
Position: WR
Class: Sr
School: Alabama
Conference: SEC
Ht., Wt.: 6'0½, 175
40 Time: 4.48
Grade: 3.07

BIO: Started 12 games as a senior collecting a career high 35 receptions for 553 yards and three scores. Junior totals were 18-252-4 when he started just a pair of games.

POSITIVES: Focused pass catcher who uses his body to shield away opponents, looks the ball in and makes the difficult catch in traffic. Finds the open spot in the field, displays good wherewithal and nicely times his receptions. Comes back to the ball and snares the high throw out of the air. Runs well laterally catching the pass in stride. Athletic with solid size-speed numbers.

NEGATIVES: Not quick releasing off the line of scrimmage, does not play to his forty time and lacks the second gear. Never stood out in college or as productive as many thought possible.

ANALYSIS: A late bloomer who displayed flashes of skill as a senior but must quickly take his game to another level to have a chance of playing on Sundays.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
