BRET ENGEMANN
Position: QB
Class: Underclassman
School: BYU
Conference: MWC
Ht., Wt.: 6'3, 225
40 Time: 4.99
Grade: 3.39

BIO: Junior-eligible who played in seven games last season after missing all of 2001 with injury. Completed 55.3 percent of his throws for 1,334 yards with six TDs and eight INTs as a junior.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized pocket passer with the arm strength to play at the next level. Patient, offers good pocket presence and puts velocity on all his throws. Zips the outs, drives the ball downfield and loses nothing passing on the move. Does not panic under pressure and puts touch on his throws when required. Accurate over the middle of the field, hitting receivers in stride or leading them with his throws. Threads a needle and the ball quickly gets to the in10ded target.

NEGATIVES: Stares down targets and forces throws into coverage. Has a pronounced throwing motion and directs many of his passes.

ANALYSIS: Offers a lot of skill to work with but needs time and repetition as he was never overly productive even playing in an offense that likes to throw the ball.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
