BIO: Two-year starter who posted career numbers as a senior catching 40 passes for 449 yards and one score, on his way to being a second team All MWC player. Saw ex10sive action the prior season garnering All-Conference at10tion by catching 22-266-5. Formerly spent time at Rick's Junior College and also went on a Two-year religious mission after graduating high school. Will be 25 years old next September.
POSITIVES: Solid pass catching tight end best in the short field. Consistently finds the open spot in the defense, settles into the underneath coverage and extends his hands, catching the ball away from his body. Adjusts to the errant throw and a solid athlete that extends vertically and beats out defenders for the high throw. Comes back to the QB, displays soft hands and aggressive running after the catch. Looks like a runaway locomotive in the open field and barrels over tacklers.
NEGATIVES: Only marginal speed and does not make plays into the defensive secondary. Lacks a sense of timing to his game. Rarely used as a blocker.
ANALYSIS: Age, poor timed speed and lack of blocking experience will push him deep into the draft.
PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
