Round 6, pick 11 (184 overall)
BIO: Three-year starter consistently graded out as Cal's top offensive lineman. Second-team All-Conference selection as a senior and a third team Freshman All-American in 1999.

POSITIVES: Athletic interior lineman who may have a future at center. Blocks with forward lean, stout at the point of attack and anchors in pass protection or turns defenders out blocking for the run. Quick kicking out or pulling across the line of scrimmage, nasty and looks to take out opponents. Stays square, effectively uses body positioning and seals blocks. Fights with his hands and displays good arm jolt.

NEGATIVES: Not light on his feet, lacks body adjustment and overtends which hurts his balance. Not a natural knee bender or effective in space.

ANALYSIS: Lack of pure bulk and ineffectiveness in anything other than confined quarters could leave him as a free agent in April.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
