Round 3, pick 3 (67 overall)
BIO: All-Conference selection the past two seasons most recently leading the team in tackles with 100, tackles for loss with 22 and sacks with 6.5 as a senior. Junior totals were 60-22-12.5 after seeing action on special teams his first Two-years on the field. Lined up at defensive end in college. Performed well at the Scouting Combine during the workout and positional drills when he was used at linebacker.

POSITIVES: Athletic defender who must now learn to play off the line of scrimmage. In a three point stance Peek is quick off the snap, keeps his pads low and feet driving up the field. Wedges through blocks, quickly alters his angle of attack and gets to the flanks. Immediately recognizes the action and displays the skills to pass cover in the short field. Relentless in his pursuit of the action and always working to make positive plays.

NEGATIVES: Slow getting off blocks at the line of scrimmage and even handled by opposing tight ends in certain situations.

ANALYSIS: Seems to have the athleticism and size-speed numbers to play linebacker at the next level and proved so at the Scouting Combine. Must learn the nuances of playing off the ball but a solid developmental prospect.

PROJECTION: Late Second Round
