Conference: Pac-10
Ht., Wt.: 6'2, 249
40 Time: 4.65
Grade: 3.51

Selected by Jacksonville Jaguars
Round 4, pick 7 (104 overall)
BIO: Junior-eligible that started 13 games last season, producing career-high numbers of 41 receptions for 568 yards and six scores. Sophomore totals were 12-126-1 after not catching a pass the prior season. Second-team All-Conference selection in 2002.

POSITIVES: Athletic prospect still developing as a football player. Breaks down well, plays with leverage and gives good effort in all aspects of his game. Dependable receiver who works to make himself an available target. Runs well laterally and catches the pass in stride, making the difficult reception in a crowd. Comes back to the ball and uses his body to shield away defenders and protect the pass. Works hard as a blocker, staying square and fighting to keep the opponent in front of him, while also showing good footwork and lateral range in pass protection.

NEGATIVES: Lacks bulk and size and does not get much movement from his run blocks.

ANALYSIS: A bit of a risk as he's only had one productive season at the college level and may need time to develop his skills. The combination of athleticism and a poor crop of tight ends will get him drafted earlier than usual.

PROJECTION: Early Fifth Round
