BIO: Productive ball carrier hampered by a knee injury as a senior. Finished with 184 carries for 1,011 yards and 11 scores, garnering second team All-Conference honors. Also caught 15 passes for 250 yards. Finished second nationally in scoring as a junior and named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year after gaining 191-1,143-20 on the ground and 18-230-4 as a pass catcher. Originally broke the century mark as a sophomore posting career numbers of 186-1,277-19 carrying the ball. Surgery on his knee in January prevented him from participating in Combine workouts.

POSITIVES: Compact, stout runner best on the inside. Runs with vision, sees the field and works to avoid piles. Strong lower body, keeps his feet off the initial hit and picks up yardage after initial contact. Hard working and aggressive; lays his shoulders into defenders, uses an effective straight arm and finds his way through the open spot. Adequate footwork in a small area and displays a short burst of speed. Runs low through the hole and a work horse back who finishes the play.

NEGATIVES: Minimal effectiveness outside of tackle. Improving as a pass catcher but not a natural receiver. Not an elusive runner who can immediately cut back or create.

ANALYSIS: Punishing north-south runner whose injury prevented him from meeting expectations in 2002. As a result will be drafted much later than his grade would warrant but still has starting potential at the next level.

PROJECTION: Late Fifth Round
