Round 6, pick 3 (176 overall)
BIO: Two-year starter and All-Conference selection as a senior after registering 71 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and eight sacks. All-League choice as a junior registering 64-21-12, leading the conference in sacks and tackles for loss.

POSITIVES: Explosive pass rushing end constantly in the opponents back field disrupting the action. Keeps his pad level low, gets exceptional leverage on opponents and displays a quick first step off the snap. Uses solid hand technique to stay off blocks, fluid changing direction and gets a lot of penetration up the field. Effective off the line in space, patient and a heady lineman who reads or anticipates the action. Fluid if asked to twist or stunt, always working to make something positive happen and wedges his way between blocks, pursuing the ball carrier from behind.

NEGATIVES: Undersized and takes wide angles around blocks, running past the action. Beats opponents with his first move or has difficulty beating them at all. Handled in one-on-one blocking situations and though he makes a lot of tackles, has difficulty if teams run in his direction.

ANALYSIS: Lacks the height you'd like in an outside linebacker but his athleticism, tenacity and football intellect could help him succeed in a three-four defense standing up over left tackle.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
