CHRIS VANCE
Position: WR
Class: Sr
School: Ohio St.
Conference: Big Ten
Ht., Wt.: 6'0½, 189
40 Time: 4.65
Grade: 3.29

BIO: Junior college transfer moved in and out of the starting lineup the past two seasons. Caught 13 passes as a senior for 178 yards with three scores, after 34-605-4 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Sure-handed receiver who's play took a step back last season. Physically strong wide out that extends his hands, gives the QB a nice target and works his way back to the ball. Gets off jams at the line of scrimmage, uses his body to shield away opponents and out-positions or out muscles defenders to make the reception. Gets up vertically to snare the high throw or goes over the middle and makes the reception in traffic.

NEGATIVES: Not fast or effective making plays down the field. Rounds off his routes and lacks quickness in or out of his breaks.

ANALYSIS: Looked like a prospect coming into the season but hardly played that way in 2002. Needs to get it back on track to have any chance at the next level.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
