BIO: Three-year starter and a first team All-Conference selection as a senior, leading the Buckeyes in tackles with 121, tackles for loss with 19, while also accumulating three sacks, 2 INTs and defending three passes. Tackling numbers were 63-7-1 as a junior after 66-15-3 the prior year. Recently ran in the low 4.5’s during individual workouts. POSITIVES: Hard hitting, run stuffing linebacker best in the box. Explosive moving up the field, forceful and looks to intimidate ball carriers. Slides laterally to fill the gaps, squares into his tackles and wraps up. Reads or anticipates the action, takes good angles to the play and constantly around the ball. NEGATIVES: Stiff, slow shedding blocks once engaged with opponents and though cognizant in pass coverage, only effective in a very small area. Does not move well laterally, nor can he quickly alter his angle of attack. ANALYSIS: Two down defender but an outstanding run stuffing linebacker..
