KENNY PETERSON
Kenny Peterson - DE Position: DE
Class: Sr
School: Ohio St.
Conference: Big Ten
Ht., Wt.: 6'3, 298
40 Time: 4.73
Grade: 4.15

Selected by Green Bay Packers
Round 3, pick 15 (79 overall)
BIO: Full-time starter as a senior posting 43 tackles with 10 tackles for loss and six sacks. Named second team All-Conference selection. Played sparingly with the first team as a junior totaling 24-6-3 after 15-7-3 the prior season.

POSITIVES: Physically gifted lineman who made a big move up draft boards off his senior season. Breaks down well playing with forward lean, rarely off his feet and always willing to get involved in the action. Displays a quick inside move, closing burst of speed and the ability to alter his angle of attack, then flat10 and pursue the ball carrier from the backside. Tough, yet heady, reads the action and quickly locates the ball.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the great first step off the snap and must improve his hand technique as he makes himself an easy target for opponents. Never had a long string of productivity on the college level.

ANALYSIS: Displayed better consistency and progress the more playing time he received the past 12 months. Stood out at Senior Bowl practices after a monster game during the Fiesta Bowl and gives you the idea the arrow is pointing up.

PROJECTION: Late First Round
