Round 3, pick 26 (90 overall)
BIO: Three-year starter after being a top reserve as a red-shirt freshman. Led the team in tackles as a senior posting 109 with one interception and 13 pass defenses. Honorable Mention All Big 12 pick as a junior totaling 78-2-15 after 49-0-3 his first season in the starting lineup.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized defensive back with top cover skills. Effective backed off the line of scrimmage, quickly reads the action and displays a good break on the ball. Runs laterally with opponents, can flip his hips and loses nothing in transition. Offers the ability to quickly break on the ball and shows a good closing burst of speed. Quick getting to top speed and covers the deep pass well. Makes a lot of tackles and constantly around the ball.

NEGATIVES: Gets beat off the line in press coverage, misjudges opponents and prone to the occasional lapse or blown assignment. Does not show great hands for the interception.

ANALYSIS: An effective nickel back out of the gate who could eventually develop into a starting corner.

PROJECTION: Mid Third Round
