BIO: Four-year starter who posted career numbers as a senior carrying the ball 240 times for 1,085 yards with 11 scores also catching 22 passes for 93 yards. Started nine of 11 regular season games as a junior and named second team all-SEC after 125-650-9 on the ground and 12-129-0 catching the ball. Sophomore totals were 121-676-12 as a ball carrier and 19-144-0 as a pass catcher. Started seven games as a red-shirt freshman posting 654 yards rushing. Recently ran poorly in pre-draft workouts, clocking in the mid 4.7’s.
POSITIVES: Tough, interior runner also effective catching the ball out of the backfield. Displays vision, patience and quick finding the running lanes. Keeps his feet chugging up the field, works his runs and aggressively lays his shoulders into opponents, falling forward to pick up the extra yardage. Adequate footwork and side steps defenders, staying on his feet and using an effective straight arm to ward off opponents. Displays the ability to string several moves together during a single carry.
NEGATIVES: Lacks a burst through the hole, speed around the corner and overall explosiveness. Even in a passing offense has never recorded a touchdown reception during the regular season.
ANALYSIS: Solid change of pace runner who will be effective at the next level for an offense which rotates its backs and a skill player who can produce touching the ball 10 times a game on Sundays.
PROJECTION: Early Sixth Round
