Selected by Washington Redskins
Round 2, pick 12 (44 overall)
BIO: Moved into a full-time starting role as a senior and became the league's most productive receiver. All-SEC selection last season after catching 71 passes for 1,088 yards with eight scores. Started three games as a junior and totaled 38-712-7. Had a record breaking performance in the 2002 Orange Bowl setting the mark for receiving yards five minutes into the third quarter. Ended up as the Orange Bowl MVP after numbers of 10-170-2. Played a top role in the receiver rotation as a sophomore, starting five games and finishing with 17-198-1.

POSITIVES: Gifted pass catcher who's been a one man show the past 12 months in Gainesville. Aware receiver who comes back to the ball, works to get open and makes both the ordinary or difficult receptions with regularity. Quick releasing off the line of scrimmage, effectively gets off jams with good hand technique and solid route runner with top eye-hand coordination. Extends for the pass, possesses soft hands and gives the QB a nice target. Adjusts or contorts and makes the difficult catch in mid air. Stays focused, gets up in a crowd and very reliable.

NEGATIVES: Champion sprinter but does not translate that speed onto the football field and not getting separation down the field.

ANALYSIS: Known as a high character and hard working player who gets results. Continually progressed at Florida and did not disappoint when the team turned to him last season. Should break the mold after what has been a string of relatively disappointing first round pass catchers coming from this program and a solid number one receiving prospect who should quickly earn a starting spot as a rookie.
