Selected by Chicago Bears
Round 4, pick 3 (100 overall)
BIO: Started thirty-five games at Florida after moving in with the first team as a red-shirt sophomore. Second-team All-Selection as a senior after 88 tackles, two INTs and defending five passes. First-team All-League pick the prior year with 72-2-3. Garnered several honors in 2000 when he posted career numbers of 102-5-3.

POSITIVES: Tough, heady defensive back best in zone coverage. Quick reading the action, keeps the play in front of him and stays with assignments. Fires up the field defending the run, takes good angles to the action and wraps up tackling. Fights to break up the pass and puts himself in a position to make a play on the ball.

NEGATIVES: Struggles over the slot receiver or in man-to-man situations. Lacks lateral speed and slow getting to the spot in deep center field.

ANALYSIS: Head for the game and tenacity on the field will help him at the next level but marginal computer numbers, as well as cover skills, will push him into the draft's middle rounds.

PROJECTION: Late Third Round
