BIO: Started 13 games at strong side linebacker as a senior totaling 148 tackles, five tackles for loss and defending six passes. Used at weak side linebacker as a junior starting eight games and registering 66 tackles with two pass defenses. Originally moved in with the first unit as a true sophomore when he posted 61 tackles and intercepted the only two passes of his college career. Nephew to former Florida receiver Ricky Nattiel.
POSITIVES: Athletic linebacker built for the weak side. Displays a good feel in coverage, can pedal, turn and play over the slot receiver. Gets depth on his drops, shows good range and takes fine angles to the action. Fluid moving laterally and redirects to the play.
NEGATIVES: Taken out by blocks but not strong at the point of attack. Does not always play under control and lacks a closing burst.
ANALYSIS: Either a nickel linebacker or backup who could eventually move into a starting role Two-years down the road.
PROJECTION: Late Fifth Round
