2003 NFL Draft 2003 NFL Draft

Grading System
Position: WR
Class: Sr
School: Georgia Tech
Conference: ACC
Ht., Wt.: 5'10, 184
40 Time: 4.56
Grade: 3.27

BIO: Second-team All-Conference selection as a senior after enjoying a breakout year setting a Tech single season record with 71 receptions for 1,050 yards and five TDs. Junior totals were 41-674-5 after 26-480-6 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Nicely built receiver who's shown a steady rate of progression the past Four-years. Extends his hands, adjusts to the errant throw and consistently catches the ball away from his body. Good eye-hand coordination, looks the ball in and makes the reception in stride. Settles into the open spot in the defense, makes the tough catch in a crowd and takes a pounding yet holds onto the ball.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the quick release, top end speed and slow in or out of his routes. Indecisive and double catches too many throws.

ANALYSIS: Could emerge as a slot receiver or a team's fourth wide out if he refines the details of his game.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
