Grade: 3.5

BIO: Three-year starter who set numerous conference and school records since 2000. Second-team All-Conference selection as a senior posting 91 tackles with one interception and seven pass break-ups. Also accounted for 7 1/2 tackles for loss and four sacks. First-team All-Conference choice as a junior totaling 97-4-6 while also leading the conference averaging 14.1 yards and 14 punt returns and bringing one back to the end zone. Tied for the I-A lead in INTs as a sophomore with 10, which was a conference record. Also broke up 17 passes that season and registered 57 tackles. Owns the school record for career INTs.

POSITIVES: Ball hawking safety with a nose for the interception. Alert, positions himself to make a play on the pass and displays outstanding sideline-to-sideline range. Effective in coverage when over the slot receiver and shows a closing burst of speed on the ball. Improved his play against the run late in his college career, willingly coming up the field and wrapping up the ball carrier.

NEGATIVES: Not flashy or explosive, gambles at times and loses out to tall pass catchers.

ANALYSIS: Did not produce the eye popping numbers late in his career at Louisville but then again became more rounded in his game and a complete safety. Won't test as well as most top flight defensive backs but could still be an effective zone cover man at the next level who should help out returning punts.

PROJECTION: Early Fifth Round
